Glenwood Springs – Great Climbing in All Seasons!

Summer, fall, winter, spring – all seasons are a wonderful time to climb in the Glenwood Springs area! Summers are filled with opportunity for rock climbing in Glenwood Canyon, Rifle Mountain Park or Independence Pass. We’ve never had to cancel a day of climbing due to weather. Even in the heaviest rain or the hottest day of summer, we have access to crags that satisfy the conditions of the day. In the winter we like to focus on ice climbing on the wonderful ice flows in Rifle Mountain Park but we also rock climb regularly on sunny walls in Glenwood Canyon. Our “off season” is hardly an offseason as spring and fall are the perfect time for rock climbing at the many areas around the Glenwood Springs area.
